Merry Christmas everyone! Although it’s the season of festivities and cheer, I’m sure many people, like me, take this time to reflect over all the wonderful and not so wonderful things that have happened in the past year.

I’m thankful for many things this year: Having the opportunity to spread the joy of art and craft making to hundreds of young kids, realizing after many years of restlessness that being a designer makes me happy, travelling to some new and exciting cities such as Boston and New Orleans, spending time with family and friends, making many new friends and buckling down to submit those college applications.

Above all, being able to express myself through this blog :). I’m also thankful to my husband for encouraging me and pushing me (sometimes to the extent of driving me nuts) to achieve many of the above things!

It’s time to kiss 2012 goodbye and look forward to 2013 and the next round of wonderful memories, achievements, creative endeavors, friendships and perhaps hardships which it’ll bring!
