Happy Friday all! Can you believe this week marks the 7th anniversary for this blog? I started this blog as a creative outlet and a learning tool for myself and that remains true to this day.
I’ve always had a personal journal through my teenage years which I use to reflect on what’s happening in life. This blog has become a great way for me to do the same creatively. It’s helped me grow as a person, be more observant and in tune with who I am as a designer. Researching for posts that I write here is not only a learning tool but it encourages me to sift through ALL the design clutter out there and boil it down to what I consider good design before I share it with all of you.
Watch this space for a brand new look and logo for this blog in the coming months! Sharing some options that we came up with in the image below. The final version is in the works and may or may not look like any of these:

In the spirit of reflecting, I’ve gone through the visual history of all 73 of my blog posts on Pinterest and wanted to share the 7 most popular images/pins that people have loved and pinned to their boards or shared frequently. In case you haven’t already checked out my Pinterest boards yet, follow this link and head on over there!

I’ve created about 50 boards with over 6000 pins worth of inspiration images covering every part of a home (kitchen, living, dining, outdoors, kid’s spaces etc) to wall finishes, paint color combos, craft ideas, life hacks and even fashion inspiration! Feel free to browse through when you’re looking for ideas on any of the above and I’m sure you’ll find something that makes you happy :)!
So here we go, these are the pins that people have liked the most from my blog posts in the past 7 years:
In this post I share tips on how to create an interesting space without burning a hole in your pocket by buying expensive designer items or expecting it to look staged. Your space should reflect your passions and be organized in a way that makes sense for you.
In this post you can learn all things painting including tips on how to select your paint colors, tools to help you visualize the color in a space and how to prep your room if you wish to paint it yourself! Check out Part 2 and Part 3 of this post to dive in deeper into exactly how to paint and apply special techniques!

This is a fun post sharing an incredible resource for wallpapers and my favorites from that point in time.

This has been one of my post popular posts and it’s all about creating visual separation in your space through stylish space dividers instead of erecting walls! These can be a great way to save cost on a project while meeting functional and aesthetic needs.

In this post I share five alternatives to painting your walls for those special spaces where a 2-dimensional color/pattern just won’t do.

In this post I introduce you to the vibrant art of British-Indian Pop Artist Ketna Patel. Her art is whimsical and unique and it was just the right kind of post to publish on the day of the colorful Indian festival of Holi.

This final image is a post where I narrow down my favorites from hundreds of projects from The Best of Year or BOY awards by the Interior Design magazine. This was a great resource for me during my commercial design years as it features all the great projects and information on the trendiest products out there.

I hope one of the posts above has helped you in your design journey in the past 7 years. Here’s a big THANKS for reading, subscribing, commenting and being a part of this blog! Hope to see you come along with me in the future and cheers to the next 7 years!
